PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring welders in Charleston, SC. Day shift, night shift, and weekend crews.
Pay & per diem:
- $25-$36/hr depending on experience
- $150/day per diem, paid for days worked
- Overtime available - expect 50-70 hours a week
- Weekly pay
The work: fabricate, join, and repair metal components. Read blueprints and weld symbols, set your machine, inspect your own welds, keep your area clean. Grinders, tape measures, chipping hammers - bring your hand tools and PPE.
Processes: FCAW (flux-core), GMAW (MIG), SMAW (stick), plus oxy-fuel, carbon arc, and plasma cutting.
Shifts:
- Day: Mon-Thu 6:00 AM-4:30 PM. OT: Fri 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, Sat/Sun 6:00 AM-12:00 PM
- Night: Mon-Thu 4:30 PM-3:00 AM. OT: Fri 2:30-10:30 PM, Sat/Sun 12:00-6:00 PM
- Weekend crew: Fri-Sun 6:00 AM-6:30 PM. Got a crew that wants weekends? Bring them.
