The AI Inside RoadTrades

AI That Works the Road With You

RoadTrades builds AI into the everyday tools of the traveling trades — it reads resumes and receipts, scans certification cards, fills job postings, translates Spanish resumes on review, and turns government wage data into plain answers. Less paperwork between you and the next job.

For Tradespeople

Your Paperwork, Read for You

Resume Upload & Auto-Fill

Upload a resume as a PDF or DOCX and RoadTrades reads it — trade, work history, certifications, education — and prefills your builder. Your skills come in matching the exact skill names recruiters search. You review, fix, and save.

Certification-Card Scan

Photograph an OSHA card or license and the credential wallet reads the type, number, and dates off the photo. Expiry warnings follow automatically.

Receipt Scan

Snap a receipt and the expense tracker reads the total and suggests the category — lodging, fuel, tools — filed straight toward your CPA-ready report.

Resume Polish

An opt-in wording pass that tightens your work-history lines. It edits what you wrote — it never invents experience.

Pay Negotiator

Talking points for the rate conversation, built from live data — the going rate for your trade in your state, what each grade actually pays, and the per diem being offered right now. Never a made-up number.

CPA Pack Opener

Your year-end expense report opens with a plain-English summary of the year your tax preparer can act on.

Job-Posting Assistant

Paste a job description and the posting form fills itself — trade, pay, per diem, schedule, required certifications. Review and publish.

Spanish Resumes, Read in English

When a resume arrives written in Spanish, one click shows an AI translation right on the review screen. Display-only — the worker’s original resume is never changed.

Candidate Summaries

Talent-search results carry a one-line read on each traveler’s fit, drawn straight from the resume they actually built.

Market Report Narratives

Market intelligence reports pair government wage and demand data with one short paragraph of analysis — guarded by the same rule as everything else here: no invented numbers.

How We Keep It Honest

Numbers You Can Trust

Every figure in a RoadTrades market report comes from government sources — BLS wage surveys, GSA per-diem tables, Census industry data — rendered directly from the data. The AI writes one narrative paragraph, and an automatic check compares every number in that paragraph against the source data. A sentence carrying an unverified figure never reaches the page; the report falls back to a plain data summary instead. The AI narrates. It never invents a number.

FAQ

The AI, Answered

What is RoadTrades AI?

It’s the working layer inside the tools you already use. Upload a resume and your profile fills itself. Snap a receipt and it’s logged. Pull a market report and every number arrives pre-checked. Not a separate app, nothing extra to buy — one platform with the AI built in.

Does the AI make things up?

It’s built not to. Market-report numbers are checked against the government source before they’re shown, the resume tools only reorganize what you provide, and anything the AI reads is shown to you before it saves. A number that can’t be verified never prints.

Do I have to use it?

No. Every tool works fully by hand. The AI features are shortcuts that save you typing — never a requirement, never in your way.

What happens to my data?

It stays yours. A feature sends only what it needs to do the job — the resume you upload, the receipt you snap — and nothing you share is used to train AI models.
