PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics and Fabricators for commercial and industrial work in Apple Grove, West Virginia.
$750 a week per diem on top of $25-$40 an hour, running 50 to 60 hours a week on 10-hour days, Monday through Friday.
What you will be doing:
- Fabricate sheet metal components, fittings, transitions and assemblies from shop drawings and project specifications
- Measure, mark, cut, bend, roll and form sheet metal using hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment
- Install HVAC duct systems, fittings and supports to project requirements
- Perform layout work and field modifications as needed
- Meet quality standards, project specifications and applicable codes
- Follow all company, customer and OSHA safety requirements
What you need:
- Previous sheet metal fabrication or mechanical installation experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Proficiency with the hand tools and equipment used in the sheet metal trade
- Your own hand tools for sheet metal fabrication and installation work
- Reliable transportation to the jobsite
- Willingness to work overtime when required
