Licensing note for travelers — which cards work here. This job spans two jurisdictions, and they accept different licenses:
To work in Washington DC, DC recognizes journeyman electrical licenses from Maryland and Virginia.
To work in Northern Virginia, Virginia recognizes licenses from Washington DC, Kentucky and West Virginia.
If you hold a card from any other state, you will most likely need to apply before you travel rather than reciprocate in. Check your own state pair before you load the truck. Reciprocity rules change, and what the board says today is what counts.
Per diem is provided for travelers on this project. The recruiter confirms the daily amount and the terms, so ask for both when you talk to them.
