PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is hiring licensed Journeyman Electricians for a commercial facility project in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This is a long-run contract — roughly a year of work — starting as soon as you are available. Four positions are open.

Pay & Benefits

What You will Be Doing

  • Install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, fixtures, and equipment
  • Perform electrical installations within a commercial facility
  • Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit
  • Pull, terminate, and troubleshoot electrical wiring
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications
  • Ensure all work meets NEC, state, and jobsite requirements
  • Coordinate with other trades and project leadership

Requirements

  • Active Michigan Journeyman Electrician license
  • Previous commercial or industrial electrical experience
  • Strong conduit-bending and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read electrical blueprints
  • OSHA 10
  • Standard electrical hand tools and appropriate PPE
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
  • Ability to pass applicable pre-employment requirements

Michigan does not reciprocate electrician licenses with any other state, so an active Michigan journeyman license is required before you start — an out-of-state card cannot be transferred in for this role.
