PRST is hiring experienced concrete form carpenters for a commercial construction project in Arcadia, FL. You will set, align and strip gang forms, wall forms and structural concrete form systems. Immediate start, long-term work.
Pay: $28-$35/hr depending on experience, paid weekly. Full-time hours with potential overtime.
Per diem is paid per day worked, based on how far you live from the project:
- 65 to 90 miles away: $50/day
- 91 miles or more: $75/day
The work:
- Set, align and strip gang forms and wall forms
- Verify dimensions, elevations and alignment
- Install and remove form hardware, walers, strongbacks and ties
- Work safely around concrete pours and crane operations
You need:
- At least 3 years of commercial concrete formwork experience
- Gang form and wall form experience
- To read blueprints and lay out formwork
- Structural concrete experience: retaining walls, shear walls, columns or elevated decks
- Reliable transportation
EFCO, Doka, Peri or Symons experience is preferred, and recent commercial gang form work gets priority.
