Advanced Tradesmen is hiring a Skilled Laborer for a directional-bore crew near West Wendover, NV. Utility project, about 3 months of work, starting right away.
Pay: Labor Group 6 scale plus zone pay. The current Northern Nevada rural prevailing determination has Group 6 at $52.83/hr, and the Wendover area carries an $8.00/hr zone adder on top of it - $60.83/hr. Benefits are paid separately, weekly.
Scope of work:
- Support the bore crew end to end - locating, potholing, and exposing existing utilities
- Walk the bore path with the locator and track the drill head
- Handle pipe and materials, keep the drill fed, mix fluid
- Trench shoring, backfill, and general site upkeep
Requirements:
- Underground or utility construction experience - bore crew or pipeline background is a plus
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- Reliable transportation to the jobsite
