Calculadora de división de tarifas
Pull per diem out of the rates you already have. One exchange rate does all the work: at your stated hours, every dollar of daily per diem equals a few cents of hourly rate — this tool moves money between the two, in both directions, and shows what each move does to the pay rate and the bill rate.
Bill = pay × markup, and overtime pays 1.5× the pay rate, billed at its own markup. Type your deal freely — then check a hold to lock it in: the held field is your non-negotiable, the other two trade the edit, and from that moment every rate move counts toward the per diem below. Un-check to reset and type fresh numbers. Hours per week = hours per day × days.
Fund it from the rate
Shift $12.50/hr out of the pay rate and into per diem. The client’s cost does not move — and because per diem is not taxed when the worker qualifies, the hand’s after-tax week usually improves.
Fund it from the client
Raise the bill and pass the difference ($12.50/hr) straight through as per diem — it carries no burden, so a billed dollar delivers a whole dollar.
Or take it from the margin
Your margin right now: $17.50/hr (bill minus pay). Burden is a fact — set it and profit shows what’s left. Then give the per diem what you can spare: every dollar in Toward per diem comes out of profit, rides in the burden column, and shrinks the need above, dollar for dollar.
Estimates for pricing conversations — not tax or legal advice. OT figured at 1.5× past 40 hours a week; state rules can differ. Per diem rides untaxed only when the worker actually qualifies (a real tax home, working away from it); the per-diem guide covers the rules in plain words. Confirm final rates and terms in writing.
