PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring licensed Journeyman Electricians for long-term commercial projects across Washington DC and Northern Virginia. $35-36/hour, 50-60 hours a week with consistent overtime, and per diem for travelers.

The job

  • $35-36/hour, weekly pay
  • Washington, DC and the Northern Virginia area — commercial and power projects
  • 50-60 hours per week, consistent overtime
  • Long-term — these are not one-week calls
  • Per diem provided for travelers

Job duties

  • Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
  • Run and bend conduit (EMT, Rigid)
  • Pull wire; terminate panels, switches and fixtures
  • Read blueprints, schematics and electrical drawings
  • Ensure work meets code and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the other trades on site

Lo que necesitas

  • Valid electrical license — journeyman or higher (DC, VA, or a reciprocal state)
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
  • Your own tools of the trade and proper PPE
  • Transporte confiable
  • Willingness to work 50-60 hours per week
  • Dispuesto a viajar

  • To work in Washington DC, DC recognizes journeyman electrical licenses from Maryland y Virginia.
  • To work in Northern Virginia, Virginia recognizes licenses from Washington DC, Kentucky y Virginia Occidental.
