PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring welders for a long-term project in the Saginaw, MI area. Travelers welcome. All levels – your rate is set by an on-site weld test and interview.<\/p>\n
Pay & per diem:
\n– $22.60-$33\/hr depending on experience and the weld test
\n– $130\/day per diem, paid for days worked
\n– Expect 50-70 hours a week
\n– Weekly pay<\/p>\n
The work: manufacture components from blueprints and Welding Procedure Specifications. All four primary processes on site: GMAW (MIG), FCAW (flux-core), GTAW (TIG), SMAW (stick), plus oxy-fuel, carbon arc, and plasma cutting.<\/p>\n
Levels:
\n– Level I (under 1-2 years): knows the basics – weld symbols, positions, machine settings, PPE
\n– Level II (2+ years): works to WPS with minimal supervision, solid in at least one process
\n– Level III (5+ years): expert in at least one process, layout and measuring, troubleshoots equipment, low rework<\/p>\n
Shifts:
\n– Day: Mon-Fri 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
\n– Night: Mon-Thu 4:15 PM-4:45 AM (shift differential)
\n– Weekend: Fri-Sun 5:00 AM-5:00 PM (shift differential)<\/p>\n
