Worker level: Florida has NO out-of-state reciprocity partners, because there is no state worker license to reciprocate. Out-of-state journeymen coming INTO Florida: no state mechanism; each local board sets its own acceptance policy — apply to the county board directly. REFUTED IN PASSING (2026-07-21): a "$25 max local registration fee" circulating in secondary summaries of s. 489.5335 is NOT in the statute — the 2025 text contains no fee language of any kind (confirmed against flsenate.gov); local boards charge their own fees (e.g., Broward: $225 application / $120 renewal, and a $50 reciprocity letter for carrying a Broward card to another jurisdiction, rates effective 1/1/2025).

STATE LEVEL: NOTHING TO WAIT FOR — Florida licenses no individual electrician worker, so there is no state application, no pending status, and no interim permit to need. Florida issues NO state-level license for individual electrician workers. No individual state license, registration, or state fee for apprentices. Florida's state electrical license is a CONTRACTOR (business) credential, not a worker credential.
